What this is

Favitest is a diagnostic tool that checks which site icons are present, which are missing, and which are served in the wrong format for a given URL. It is provided as a free one-shot service on an "as is" basis.

Usage

• You may use Favitest to check any public URL.
• You may not use the tool to probe internal networks, private IP addresses, or services you do not have permission to access. The tool enforces URL validation rules that block private IPs, localhost, and credential-bearing URLs.
• There are no user accounts, no stored data, and no rate limits documented at this time, but the operator reserves the right to restrict usage to maintain service availability.

No warranties

This tool is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The results may be inaccurate or incomplete — Favitest parses binary headers and HTML by heuristic, not by specification conformance. Always verify critical findings manually.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this tool.

Billing

Current status. All Favitest functionality is currently free of charge. No payment information is collected or required.

Pro plan (planned). A paid Pro subscription is planned but is not yet available. When it launches, Pro subscribers will be charged a monthly fee at the then-published price. Full details of what the Pro plan includes — batch checks, CSV/JSON export, API access, per-format diagnostic reports — are described on the pricing page.

Billing period. The Pro plan, when available, will be billed monthly in advance. Subscriptions will renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Failed payments. If a payment method fails to process, we will retry the charge automatically after 3 days and again after 7 days. If all retries fail, access to Pro features will be suspended until the outstanding balance is paid. After 30 days of continued non-payment, the subscription will be cancelled and any stored data subject to our data retention policy.

Refund policy. Refunds are not currently offered because no payments are being taken. When the Pro plan launches, a refund policy will be published here. No payment processor is connected at this time; the operator will update these terms when a processor is configured.

No legal entity

No legal entity has been registered for this business yet. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until then, this document describes the expected usage terms in good faith but has no binding legal force.

Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
