What this tool does

Favitest is a one-shot diagnostic tool. You paste a URL, and Favitest fetches that page, reads the icon declarations in its HTML, and fetches each declared icon to report its status, dimensions, and format. The results are displayed in your browser only.

What data is processed

• The URL you submit — used to fetch the page and its icons. This URL is sent to our server as part of the API request.
• The page HTML and icon files — fetched server-side and examined for icon declarations, binary headers, and dimensions. These are not stored after the response is returned.
• No personal information — this tool does not ask for your name, email address, or any account credentials. There are no accounts.

What is stored

Nothing. Favitest has no database, no persistent storage, and no user accounts. The URL you submit and the fetched page data exist only in the server memory for the duration of the single request (up to approximately 30 seconds). No logs of submitted URLs or results are retained.

Cookies

Favitest does not set any cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics beacons.

Third-party services

The tool fetches pages and icons from the URLs you submit. Those fetches go directly from our server to the target host — no intermediary. The target host may log the request per its own policies. Google Fonts is loaded for typeface rendering; Google's privacy policy applies to that request.

Legal entity

No legal entity has been registered for this business yet. The operator must supply the entity name, address, and jurisdiction before this policy binds anyone. Until then, this document describes the tool's data practices in good faith but has no binding legal force.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
